NDD distributes about 1200 consumer magazines and books from almost 250 publishers to about 9000 retailers throughout Australia.

Our Publisher clients include Australian and overseas publishers and exporters. Our extensive portfolio of magazines range from mass market, high profile major consumer brands to niche interest, specialist publications.

This diverse range of titles is distributed to independent newsagents, multiple retail groups, supermarkets, variety stores, petrol/convenience and specialist outlets nationally.

Trading with NDD

The retail circulation management and distribution of magazines is coordinated by the NDD Client Services team of experienced Account Managers. Account Managers work closely with NDD Allocationists who, using NDD’s proprietary Newsboy system, ensure circulation strategies are executed and targets met.

Circulation is further supported by the NDD Marketing, Retail and Customer Service teams, who manage the relationship with our trading partners, using industry leading systems, including our sophisticated e-communications platform.

The physical distribution of stock is facilitated through a network of state warehouses and delivery drivers nationally, managed by NDD’s Operations team of logistic and warehousing specialists.

Publisher Online Access

Publishers in account with NDD have access to the restricted client area of the News Direct site.

Our Client area offers access to a special suite of sales and sales projection reports at the click of a button, any time of the day, every day of the week. Reference material and key information such as product receipt schedules, range review dates, promotional opportunities, industry news, and case studies provide added value for better decision-making.
